Afropunks: The Other Black Experience

This work was created for the Afropunk.com website to highlight the Afropunk community. By highlighting the visual expressions of an alternate Black identity, the Afropunks call into question the cultural identity that has been shaped by mass media and reclaim their own personal identities. Introducing the community to itself allows for a validation of that choice. So meet the Afropunks!
